The September 1981 General Election was supposed to be the first democratic election ever to be held in Talossa. The election was formally set to take place on Tuesday, 1 September 1981/II, however, the date passed without the election taking place. Eventually, on Friday, 18 September, balloting took place and the votes were counted on Sunday, 27th September.

Aftermath
King Robert I annulled the election results because they did not give him the results he desired. The first proper, democratic and multi party elections took place in April 1985/VI.
