The Senate for the 36th Cosa consisted of seven seats.
Elections and Seat Reassignments
After the conclusion of the 35th Cosa, the Senators for the provinces of Cézembre and Vuode both resigned, and each was appointed to the other's seat by the executive authority of the respective provinces. This was done so that the Vuodean Senate seat could be held by a Vuodean citizen, Senator Betiñér, and the Cézembre seat went to the Florencian Baron Hooligan.
In the elections, the Senate seat for Florencia went to John Woolley, who defeated his son Patrick on a 14-1 vote, the only vote for the younger Woolley coming from Baron Hooligan with both Woolleys voting for John.
Olaf Brainerd defeated the younger Woolley for the Maricopa seat on a 3-2 vote.

Notes
1 Senator Betiñéir had not achieved the required tenure of citizenship to be eligible to vote in the Senate until the third Clark. He held the Vuodean seat without eligibility to vote for the first two Clarks.
2 Baron Hooligan resigned his seat following the final Clark of the Cosa upon being appointed Seneschal, feeling that the Prime Minister's legislative tenure should be completely tied to the Vote of Confidence, and so that the seat could be filled by a Cézembrean citizen for the 37th Cosa, as it had become the case that a Cézembrean had achieved sufficient tenure as a citizen to be eligible to serve in the Senate.
3 Senator Woolley resigned his seat upon being elected to assume the throne as King John. The new Prince of Prospect, Woolley's son Prince Patrick, was appointed to serve the remainder of his father's Senatorial term.
