Da Dhi Cabinet
After the RUMP won 96 seats and was left without a coalition party with the dissolution of the IND, Cézembrean Glüc da Dhi, as the leader of the second biggest party in the Cosa, was tasked with assembling a coalition government comprising the three parties of what was previously referred to as "Time's Up Coalition" or "Rainbow Coalition". This was particularly significant as the RUMP had previously held power for about eight years prior to the elections to the 46th Cosa.
The Cabinet's composition piqued the interest of some Talossans, with a number of new citizens, Reviensadeirs, republicans but particularly the presence of long time Talossans Anglatzara, Valcadac'h, and Carbonel in the same Cabinet, when Valcadac'h was a former Progressive Conservative Seneschal, Carbonel a former (if short lived) MN Prime Minister, and Anglatzara was an old Liberal Party member who had notoriously left Talossa in 2001 over numerous disputes with King Ben.
The government only had a narrow 104-96 majority in the Cosa, which technically decreased to a bare 101-99 two-seat majority after Carlüs Xheraltescu's decision to split from the ZRT and form a new political party, the Liberal Congress, even though Xheraltescu always voted in favour of confidence.
The situation in the Senate was more dire, though, as the coalition was tied 4-4 for control with the RUMP, whose senators, led by Mençei Mick Preston, acted as a solid conservative bloc dubbed "Fortress Senäts" by Preston himself. Particularly, the Senate's refusal to pass a bill on coinage and monetary policy caused Istefan Perþonest to resign as Finance Minister.
A number of other ministers resigned during the term as well, with an unusually high number of 13 different people sitting at the cabinet table at some point in time. As a comparison, even though the Xheraltescu Cabinet involved a fairly major reshuffle, only 9 people were involved in it - even adding two people to account for the merger of the Interior Ministry, that's still two people less.
The cabinet also sported an unusual number of independent politicians. No independent ever held a Cabinet position again after this Cabinet; Ian Anglatzara did however continue serving as Deputy Minister for Immigration until October 24th, 2017 - a service of three years and nine months straight.
Ultimately, during the Fifth Clark, MRPT MC Alexandreu Soleiglhfred's failure to vote caused the Vote of Confidence to fail and prompted early elections. This was the first failed Vote of Confidence since the 33rd Cosa denied Confidence to the ZPT's Gary Cone in December 2004.
