A. Davinescu Cabinet
Alexandreu Davinescu's first and only Cabinet came into office on 25 April 2010 and the few following days. It was largely a continuation of the previous Canun Cabinet, where Davinescu had served as Deputy Prime Minister.
The cabinet's nominations were shadowed by a row between some members of the RUMP and of the opposition PP, as Flip Molinar and Éovart Grischun refused to be appointed respectively as Home and as Culture Minister, portfolios which they acted as spokesmen for in the PP; the parties were embroiled in a bitter electoral campaign during the April 2010 General Election. As Molinar stated he didn't want to work for the RUMP, his comments were heavily criticized by two "hawks" in the RUMP, Senator Bradley Holmes and Secretary of State Mick Preston. Fellow Progressive Dréu Gavárþic'h went on to accept the STUFF portfolio regardless.
