After each General Election (every eight months, if not sooner), the political party or coalition of parties holding a majority of the 200 seats in the newly elected Cosa organizes the government by recommending that the King appoint a particular person to the office of Seneschal. The Seneschal appoints a Cabinet of Ministers to enact various functions specified in the Organic Law and in statutes.
