The Senate for the 40th Cosa consisted of seven seats.

Elections

The Senate seat for Maricopa went to Iustì Canun, who defeated Xhorxh Asmour on a 4-2 vote.

Alexandreu Davinescu ran unopposed to take the Maritiimi-Maxhestic seat, though he resigned after serving only four Clarks and the seat was filled by appointment.

1 Senator Betiñéir vacated his seat by failing to vote in the first two Clarks of the Cosa, and his seat was filled by appointment of Senator von Buccholtz.

2 Senator Davinescu resigned his seat following the fourth Clark. His seat was filled by appointment of Senator Preston.

3 According to the Organic amendment ratified prior to the 40th Cosa, Senator Preston became the nation's first interim Senator, holding the Maritiimi-Maxhestic seat only until the dissolution of the Cosa during which he was appointed, rather than until the normal expiration of the term to which his predecessor had been elected.
